Meet Dr. Wright :: Meet Dr. Wright | Meet Dr. Zelazny | About us

Dr. David Wright and his family live in Birmingham, Michigan in the Poppleton Park neighborhood. His wife, Peggy, is in private practice in Speech Pathology. They have three children: Natalie, Daniel and Julia.   Natalie is a Freshman at the University of Michigan, Daniel is a Junior at Seaholm High School and Julia is an eighth grader at Derby .

Dr. Wright graduated from Brother Rice High School in 1979. He gained his undergraduate education at The University of Michigan and then stayed there to attend The School of Dentistry where he befriended Don Zelazny. They graduated together in 1987 with a D.D.S. degree. Later, Dr. Wright went back to the "U of M" to get his M.B.A. (It has been rumored that he would do anything for student football tickets).

Dr. Wright opened the doors to the Clarkston/Waterford office at the present location on Sashabaw Road in May of 1988. He has been involved in organized dentistry for many years and is a member of many organizations including the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has earned the advanced recognition as a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He now co-teaches advanced dental classes with the world's most recognized dentist, Dr. Gordon Christensen, at the world renowned P.C.C. Centers in Provo, Utah and Scottsdale, Arizona.

His many interests include skiing, hiking, basketball, soccer and coaching kid's sports. His children’s involvement in soccer, swimming, volleyball, basketball, skating and, oh yes, school are his main diversions these days...
